Yvonne will present her experiences with the national flu programme in general practice and share best practice on training and educating practice staff involved with delivering a successful flu campaign.

14th July: Influenza disease and vaccination update

Join Simon Carvell and Jenny Costello as they explore the fundamentals of influenza disease and discuss the latest updates to the national influenza program. Discover more about influenza surveillance in the UK, key milestones for producing the influenza vaccine and the clinical risk groups who should be offered immunisation in the UK.

Simon Carvell is a GP and Lead Partner in Vaccination and Immunisation in his multidisciplinary team, while Jenny Costello is a General Practice Nurse Manager and Nurse Lead for the Annual Flu Campaign.
